Here’s How to Check Your Transaction Status

If you recently purchased Bitcoin from an Athena ATM and don’t see it in your wallet yet, don’t panic. In most cases, your transaction is processing exactly as expected.

This page explains how to check the real status of your transaction and what to do next.

Before you check anything...

  • Bitcoin transactions are not instant.
  • Most appear on the network within 20 minutes.
  • Your wallet may not update until confirmations occur.

Step 1: Check your transaction on the Bitcoin Network

Find your Bitcoin Address

  • Look at your Athena ATM receipt.
  • This is your address where your Bitcoin was sent.

Open a Block Explorer

  • Go to blockchain.com/explorer
  • Paste the address into the search bar.
  • Select BTC (Bitcoin)

Review the Results

  • Newest transactions appear at the top.
  • Match the amount to your receipt.
